Who operates this service
TxCountyAssist.com is a service of PointCAAS LLC. We are an independent assistance service and are not affiliated with any government agency. Official government forms remain available directly from their issuing agencies.
Models and documents
The default deterministic guide does not contact any model. A configured local provider receives your answers at its displayed endpoint. Hosted inference requires explicit server configuration and never activates as a fallback. Provider retention and no-training terms must be reviewed before enabling real customer use.
No document extraction or malware scanning is active. Uploaded text cannot change recipients, approve packages, or invoke tools. Every uploaded document is marked unscanned; use synthetic documents.
Email and package disclosure
All email goes to local Mailpit. Simulation packages include the exact reviewed documents and customer CC. No external transmission adapter is implemented. Sending does not mean filed, accepted, or approved.
Retention and deletion
The retention command removes inactive applications after the configured period (30 days by default). It must be scheduled by the operator. You can delete your account and documents from My account, after any active or uncertain jobs are resolved.
Before real customer use
Production encryption, secure transport, backup deletion, distributed rate limiting, malware scanning, signed-document verification, provider contracts, and live submission authorization need production review. This prototype is not ready to hold real identity documents.
